Kyla Williams, Founder, has worked in the field of Human Services for over 15 years and has diverse experience in human service programming (child welfare, juvenile justice, homelessness, domestic violence, sexual assault, and recreation and wellness), grant writing, fundraising, training and technically assistance, recruitment, legislative work, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Board development. She is the recipient of the 2007 “35 Under 35 Award” presented by the Community Renewal Society for emerging community leaders.  Kyla is devoted to legislative advocacy on behalf of children and youth and has presented domestically and internationally on a variety of human service topics.  As a skilled grant writer, she has secured over twelve million dollars in public and private funding from all levels of sources.

The concept of Technically Human was established in 2007 to accomodate the initial requests from non-profit organizations, faith-based institutions and schools for grant writing services and information system networking and maintenance.  Since that time, Technically Human has provided quality and affordable consultation services to several organizations acrosss the United States and has a staff with collectively, over 100 years non-profit experience.
